Acquisitions & Cataloging Department

  Acquisitions & Cataloging Department / Online Library Cataloging Center is one of the basic departments of library and reader services of the National Library of China, responsible for the acquisitions, cataloging, processing of monographs and the international exchange of publications. In the department, there are professionals taking care of Chinese, English, Russian, Japanese, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Arabic, Hindi, Korean, Vietnamese, Polish and other languages.
  Acquisitions & Cataloging Department / Online Library Cataloging Center provides cataloging services to libraries and information institutions in China, and distributes MARC records of China National Bibliography.
  Under the department, there are several reading rooms, such as Reading Room of Books from Taiwan and Hong Kong, Reading Room of Publications of International Organizations and Foreign Governments, Reading Room of Japanese Books and Reading Room of Doctoral Dissertations.
