Audio-Visual Services Center

  With three audio-visual rooms, well-equipped multimedia production facilities and film edit studio, the center provides readers with audio-visual materials, multimedia production, camera shot, and film edit services. At the center, there are film edit studio, VOD production studio, broadcasting and recording studio, and small sound stage as well. Services also include Beta-com, BVU and VHS production, MIDI-100 non-linear edit, and CD, VCD and DVD production.

  Up to April 2001, the center has more than 70,000 collections with various mediums, most of which are in Chinese, English, Japanese and French.

  There are two 130-seat group audio-visual rooms that are available for audio and visual shows and holding forums; and one 60-seat personal audio-visual room that is convenient for readers to use all the audio and visual materials and to see domestic and overseas films via VOD system. Readers can also browse the Internet at the center.

  Audio and visual materials lending service is offered to readers with the membership of audio-visual club. Consulting service about the audio and visual materials is also provided.
