The Documentation

  The journal, hosted by the National Library of China, is a national journal for libraries, institutions specialized in Chinese literature and history, and for the overseas institutions in China study and sinology. It discloses the collection of the Library by publishing important rarebooks, manuscripts, letters, local chronicles, maps and atlas, genealogies, archives, scripts on turtle shell and animal bones, scripts on bronzes and stone tablets, Dunhuang manuscripts, the documents of Chinese minority nationalities, etc. It also contains research articles on classical literature, ancient documentation, historiography, exegetics. The journal is famous because the well-known scholars such Ren Jiyu, Li Xueqin, Li Zhizhong, Zhou Shaoliang, Fu Xuanzong, and Fu Xinian are invited to be its academic advisors.
