Zhou Heping, NLC director, met with Iranian Government Cultural Delegation on 14 February. Wang Xiaofei, director of NLC International Cooperation Division, Gao Hong, director of NLC Coordination & Operation Management Division, and Gu Ben, director of NLC Foreign Language Publications Acquisitions & Cataloguing Department, attended the interview.

Zhou Heping extended warm welcome to the delegation, reviewing the friendly exchange history between Iran and China, introducing the relationship between NLC and National Library of Iran and librarianship development of the NLC in recent years. Iranian Government Cultural Delegation expressed thanks for the warm reception of our Library. Both parties hoped to go on strengthening exchange and cooperation on Persian documents.

After the interview, the guests visited the NLC North Area accompanied by Wang Xiaofei, and understood the collection of the Complete Library of the Four Branches of Literature in details.
