The Manuscripts of Zi Zhi Tong Jian collected in National Library is the manuscripts of Sima Guang in Song Dynasty, which is 33.8cm in width and 130cm in length, with 29 lines and 465 characters in all. There are many prefaces and postscripts in the end of the manuscripts, written by famous collectors in different dynasties.

The Four Special Collections of National Library of China, i.e. Dunhuang Manuscripts, the Zhaocheng Tripitaka of the Jin Dynasty, the Yongle Encyclopedia, and the Complete Library of the Four Branches of Literature, and the special collections of NLC, including oracle bones, rubbings, ethnic literature, ancient maps, etc, are presented online.
