Accessible to all the general reading rooms in both NLC & NLC Library of Ancient Books |
Anyone aged 18 or above, both from China and abroad can apply. |
With a valid ID card (or military ID, Passport), fill in the reader's card application form |
Extended Functions |
Valid for reading books and periodicals in stacks |
Allowed to read books and periodicals in stack. Books and periodicals must be returned on the same day and can not be taken out of the library. |
Anyone aged 18 or above, both from China and abroad can apply. |
With NLC reader's card, fill in related items of the application form and pay deposit RMB ￥100 (Any reader's card with loan function can automatically acquire this function) |
Loan Stack Room for Chinese Books I |
3 books and 3 discs attached to books can be borrowed from Loan Stack Room for Chinese Books I, allowed to read books and periodicals in stacks, allowed to read rare books and permanent collections. |
Chinese with technical job title of mid-class or above, with chief of administrative division or above, with a master degree or above |
With NLC reader's card and the appropriate certificate, fill in the related items of the application form and pay deposit RMB ￥100 |
Loan Stack Room for Chinese Books II |
3 books and 3 discs attached to books can be borrowed from Loan Stack Room for Chinese Books II, allowed to read books and periodicals in stacks. |
