Regulations: laws, rules, criterions and standards on preservation and conservation;
Process: the requirement, quality control and procedure of the conservation from taking out the books from the stack to returning it back;
Problems£ºthe new problems during the conservation process;
Resolutions: how to deal with the above problems, especially the new methods of traditional and modern technology.

Aims of this conference

1\ describe the process and analysis the cases;
2\ set forth new ideas and methods of conservation and new technology used in conservation;
3\ share the experiences and contribute to the development of preservation and conservation in different countries.

The National Library of China will pay the accommodation, meals and local transportation for the participants.
