National Library of China sustains the responsibility of preserving the national digital resources. To grantee that this can be implemented smoothly, the library will develop the preservation project for Internet information and digital resources.

Automatically snatch at Internet: Based on the public information made on China Internet, National Library of China will post the announcement on the website or webpage which are needed for preservation. The announcement period is 90 days (Except the public holidays). If the Library does not receive any rejection for web owner, the collection project will get started after the expiry of the announcement period. The collected information is granted not to use for business purpose.

Remark: Rejection is limited to the expressly endorsement. Any implicitly endorsement will be perceived as authorization.

National Library of China will not confirm the reality of the information in the website or webpage. The production units and individuals should sustain the responsibility of the announced information.

National Library of China reserves the right to determine the above regulations. Moreover, the Library would communicate with the government so as to obtain the legal protection for the legal deposit of electronic publications.
