On the 23 October 2009, according to The Reward Methods for the Innovation Awards of the Ministry of Culture, the winners of the 3rd Innovation Awards of the Ministry of Culture were selected out, which were published in the website of the Ministry of Culture. Among them, there was one special award project and 19 innovation award projects. Two projects of the National Library of China got the innovation awards, i.e. the website construction of China Digital Library for Visual Impairment, and China library volunteers' activites.
