In the morning of May 27th, 2008, Keith MacGregor, Executive Vice President of Thomson Reuters, visited National Library of China. Chen Li, deputy director of National Library of China, interviewed the guest.

Both parties reviewed the cooperation situation in recent years. Keith MacGregor introduced the new operation pattern of The Thomson Corporation after it purchased Reuters Group PLC. Chen Li, NLC deputy director, expressed the wish of strengthening cooperation between both parties, so as to provide better services for readers. Wang Zhigeng, director of Digital Resource and Service Department, and Gao Hong, acting director of Foreign Language Acquisitions & Cataloguing Department, attended the interview.
