On May 20th, Zhan Furui, NLC director, and Chen Li, NLC deputy director, interviewed the delegation of National Library of Korea. Pu Guangwu, deputy director of National Library of Korea, voiced his sorrow and sympathy for the victims of the earthquake that struck Wenchuan, and expressed his will of helping reconstruct the libraries in the disaster area. The delegation donated 300 dollars for the disaster area, which expressed the friendship of Korean librarians. Zhan Furui, NLC director, showed his great thanks for the donation of the Korean delegation. The donation will be given to the disaster area by Library Society of China.
