Olivo Barbieri, a famous Italian photographer, came to take part in the Photography Activity of "The City of Olympic Games" on invitation, sponsored by The Information Office of Beijing Government and Beijing Foreign Cultural Exchanges Association, and organized by Beijing Foreign Cultural Exchanges Centre. The photos taken in the activity were used for the dissemination of Beijing city. In the afternoon of May 12th, Olivo Barbieri came to National Library of China for indoor shooting and outdoor shooting. Accompanied by the staff of General Office and International Cooperation Division, Olivo Barbieri took photos in Chinese Books in Social Sciences Reading Room I, Foreign Books Reading Room I, and Reference Books Reading Room. Olivo Barbieri and Beijing Foreign Cultural Exchanges Centre showed great thanks for the support and assistance of National Library of China. .
