All of the full text e-resources can be accessed in library only. See Electronic Reading Room I and Electronic Reading Room II.

We have developed a NLC Doctoral Dissertation Database where the first 24 pages of over 60,000 types of dissertations can be read. All those materials can be browsed only but not for download or photocopy. There are basic search, advanced search, Boolean search and limit option provided in the database.

Search NLC Doctoral Dissertation Database

The National Library of China is a comprehensive research library and the home of domestic dissertations. We collect all the doctoral dissertations upon government regulations. In these 20 years, there are almost 120,000 types of doctoral dissertations in our collections. And we also collect Master's degree dissertations from some of the local Universities, doctoral dissertations from Taiwan and some overseas Chinese graduate dissertations.

Users can search OPAC and see whether a dissertation has been collected by NLC or not, or see the bibliographic records about the items such as location, call number,subject etc.
